Position Scope:
Coordinate the flow of raw material and purchased components to support the production and assembly of bleacher structures. Review requirement, create and distribute schedule, communicate with Production Control, department supervision, and operators to determine the progress of work, review and maintain inventory levels and resolve conflicts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and establish vender and productions schedules for a defined segment of a manufacturing operation.
Schedule raw material and purchased parts, assemblies and or tooling required by Production Control and Material allocation.
Monitors material inventories, tracks progress of production and reviews factors that affect schedules.
Interact with shop floor and other departments to resolve issues, share information and complete schedules.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be able to effectively market test and make sourcing decisions.
Must have experience with contract sourcing and commodity buying.
Understand manufacturing systems, Microsoft Products, strong computer skills.
Strong organization and communication skills
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with deadlines.
Customer service/phone skills and flexibility with constantly changing requirements.
Able to identify and resolve problems.
Negotiation skills.
Time management skills.
Experience with AS400-MAPICS preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Experience with immigration to new ERP system strongly preferred.
Required Education and Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
Mon - Thurs 9 hour shifts; Fri 4 hour shift.
