Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Crew Leader/Driver to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will lead a crew responsible for delivering exceptional landscaping, grounds maintenance, and construction services. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key member of our team, you will operate company vehicles, manage crew activities, and oversee various outdoor work projects that enhance the beauty and functionality of our clients’ properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on landscaping expertise with leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew in performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and groundskeeping tasks.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, and team members to job sites across.
- Manage daily project workflows, ensuring timely completion of construction projects and landscaping jobs.
- Oversee the operation of grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and other horticultural tools.
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance; perform pruning, planting, and fertilization as needed.
- Coordinate irrigation management to maintain healthy landscapes; troubleshoot irrigation issues and perform routine system checks.
- Supervise crew members’ activities, provide training on equipment use and safety procedures, and promote teamwork.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations while maintaining high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening with a strong knowledge of horticulture practices.
- Supervising or team management experience in outdoor or construction settings.
- Ability to identify plants, trees, and landscape features accurately.
- Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment and landscaping tools safely and efficiently.
- Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction projects related to landscaping or outdoor improvements is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
