Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy independent repair facility. This is a sales-driven role where you’ll handle customer interactions, build trust, explain vehicle issues clearly, and close service jobs with confidence.

This is a commission based role with uncapped earning potential.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Schedule service appointments.
- Manage shop workflow while maintaining quality standards, maintain a balanced/efficient workflow using the company's systems such as the shop management software, internal best practices and dispatching work in order to achieve the best possible results.
- Handle all customer service complaints, negative online feedback, and other customer service issues. Prevent customer service issues whenever possible by monitoring/ensuring that all the verbal and written commitments/contracts made by staff are being honored. Escalating to a manager when necessary.
- Create accurate and comprehensive work orders.
- Prepare complete and accurate estimates.
- Sell repairs and service to clients using company guidelines and best practices.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of facility services and promotions to effectively inform customers.
- Follow up with customers regarding service completion and ensure their satisfaction with the work performed.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely service delivery and quality assurance.
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day.
Experience
- 3 years service advisor and/or sale experience required
- Automotive knowledge and familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in sales or related roles is preferred
