Job Summary:
The primary focus of this position is to support the customer transmission and/or distribution resources, executing inspection and repair work through Northern California. Office will be co-located at Investor-owned Utility Facility and remote field/yard work may be required supporting outside line crews. Provides variety of support, administrative, and operations tasks. Deals with a diverse group of employees, external callers, and Utility customer interactions. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
Example of Duties:

Pre-construction job meetings and job walks
-
Customer meets and resolution of discrepancies / access issues
-
Meeting with SCE / city agencies regarding upcoming work
-
Pre-field for outages, switching and shoo-fly locations
-
Determine LZ's for AirOps support
-
Determine generation drop and pick up locations
-
On the job training with lower-level coordinators
-
Utilization the SCE portal to access circuit maps, work order maps, FIM maps, CSS, TLM
-
Requesting NTO, Outages, Transmission clearances and intermediate to advanced switching programs
-
SCE communication with requesting of troubleman, apparatus and substation support
-
Requesting of third-party vendors (diggers, traffic control, cranes, environmental, etc.)

Requesting of SCE resources (AirOps, tree trimming, GotSpill, generation etc.)
-
General Foreman and Superintendent Support
-
Maintaining of crew calendars and crew scheduling
-
Data entry and database maintenance
-
Building and closing of construction books
-
Coordination with environmental associates
-
Coordination with sub-contractor resources
-
Communication with general foreman and superintendent regarding crew scheduling and job planning

Communication with the admin team regarding work status, updates, and tracking

Communication with the yard / material team regarding material availability
-
Directing of the supporting CC1s and lower level CC2s
-
Communicating office / region needs and issues to Supervision / management
-
Proficient with Pro Energy, SCE & PAR policies, and procedures
-
Manage a team with proficiency in all aspects of level 1 and 2 coordination responsibilities

Building station maps for large projects

Competent in managing workflow, planning, scheduling, deadlines, and reporting work execution with minimal errors

Experience/Education:
-
A minimum of 5-10 years of work experience in the electrical transmission and distribution industry, often with 5+ years in a coordination role

High school diploma or equivalent required
Licenses/Certifications:
-
Possession of a valid California driver's license, Class C, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company’s insurance carrier.
