About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation contract in Bishop, California. This role focuses on 1:1 patient care, functional evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and hands-on therapy services in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients referred for occupational therapy
Develop measurable goals and treatment plans
Provide 1:1 outpatient therapy sessions
Reassess and update treatment plans as needed
Perform therapy techniques and physical modalities
Document patient progress accurately in Cerner EMR
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams
Requirements
Active California Occupational Therapist license required
BLS/BCLS certification required
American Heart Association BLS preferred/required
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Outpatient and hand-based therapy experience required
Strong communication and patient care skills required
Ability to work well with patients, families, and clinical teams
