Mortgage One Funding is actively seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our growing team in Troy, MI.

- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Work Setting: In Office

About the Role
As a Senior Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in ensuring mortgage files move efficiently from application to closing. You will work closely with Loan Officers, Underwriters, Title Companies, and Borrowers to collect documentation, resolve conditions, and deliver an exceptional client experience while meeting strict deadlines.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their pipeline, communicates effectively, and understands the urgency that comes with every mortgage transaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, and other residential mortgage loans
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Analyze income, assets, credit, employment, and supporting documentation
- Submit files to underwriting and work directly with UWM Underwriting
- Review underwriting decisions and efficiently clear conditions
- Request, review, and organize all required documentation
- Maintain consistent communication with Loan Officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors throughout the loan process
- Ensure files remain compliant with company and investor guidelines
- Meet processing and closing deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the transaction
Required Qualifications
- Previous mortgage processing experience is required
- Hands-on experience working with UWM Underwriting is REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines and documentation requirements
- Ability to read and interpret underwriting conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with excellent follow-through
- Professional attitude and positive team mentality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loans
- Experience working in a high-volume mortgage environment
- Familiarity with mortgage LOS systems and document management software
- Ability to independently manage a large pipeline
