About the Role
As a Field Service Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital technical partner to healthcare facilities by ensuring the optimal performance and sanitation of critical sterilization systems. You will leverage your mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to maintain complex equipment, directly impacting the safety and efficiency of hospital operations.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive cleaning and preventative maintenance protocols on high-capacity sterilizer units to ensure peak operational standards.

Manage the precise handling, application, and disposal of specialized cleaning chemicals while adhering to strict safety and environmental regulations.

Diagnose mechanical and electro-mechanical system issues, providing effective repairs or escalating complex technical failures to ensure minimal equipment downtime.

Serve as the primary point of contact for facility staff, providing clear updates on service status and proactive recommendations for equipment longevity.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation using mobile technology to ensure compliance and transparency in all maintenance activities.

Oversee the upkeep of your assigned service vehicle, tools, and inventory to ensure you are fully equipped for every site visit.

Coordinate with internal scheduling teams to optimize service routes and meet strict customer service level agreements.
Qualifications-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year in a technical, mechanical, or industrial service role.

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with complex machinery, plumbing, or electrical systems.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
