Position Details:
- Starting pay: $10/hour
- Schedule: 5 days a week — Tuesday through Saturday
- Location: Animal Shelter
- Hours: Full-time
What This Role Looks Like:
- Greeting adopters, visitors, and community members with kindness and patience
- Answering phones, messages, and questions with compassion
- Assisting with adoptions, intakes, and general customer service
- Helping keep the front area organized and welcoming
- Being a calm, respectful voice for both people and animals
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who truly cares about animal welfare — not just a job
- Dependable, respectful, and reliable (the animals need us every day)
- Comfortable speaking with the public, even in emotional situations
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced shelter environment
- Willing to learn and grow within animal rescue work
