Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings based on customer preferences
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and ensure timely order completion
Experience
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience preferred but not required
- Proven culinary experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting, especially with pizza or similar dishes
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including knife skills and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or large-scale food service is a plus
- Familiarity with the food industry environment and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on serving customers enthusiastically and efficiently
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
