AJ’s Grayton Beach is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, support staff management, and ensure a high-quality dining and entertainment experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
- Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards and address guest concerns professionally.
- Oversee scheduling, training, and development of employees.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle financial transactions, including cash handling and reporting.
- Support the execution of special events and live entertainment nights.
- Late night hours are required.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in restaurant or bar management preferred.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Availability for late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems and basic financial reporting.
