Attorney – Our client is seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Attorney to join their team in the Des Moines Metro.
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity where you will earn a competitive salary, commensurate your experience. You will work Monday – Friday daytime hours. Plus enjoy a generous benefits package.
Some of your responsibilities as Workers Compensation Attorney include:
- Managing workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution
- Preparing and filing pleadings, motions and supporting legal documents
- Representing clients in hearings mediations and proceedings before the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commission
- Communicating with clients regarding case progress and expectations
- Maintaining accurate client records
To qualify for the Workers Compensation Attorney position, you must have:
- Active license to practice law in the State of Iowa
- Experience with workers’ compensation law
- Client-focused approach
- Strong negotiation and case management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
