Job Overview
Our client is seeking motivated individuals to join their Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team as an **RME Operator (RMEO)**. This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in starting a career in industrial maintenance, automation, and robotics.
No prior electrical or mechanical experience is required. You will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians, gain hands-on technical experience, and have the opportunity to advance into a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprenticeship program.
Responsibilities
* Perform preventive maintenance checks while following all safety procedures.
* Replace parts using established standard operating procedures.
* Use laptops or tablets to manage work orders and maintenance documentation.
* Operate basic hand tools and workshop equipment.
* Assist experienced maintenance technicians with inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
* Support daily maintenance operations as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
* Basic math skills.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb stairs or ladders as required.
* Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
* Technical education or vocational training.
* At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
* Experience with material handling or conveyor systems.
* Exposure to preventive maintenance procedures.
Hiring Assessment
Candidates will complete a basic math assessment covering:
* Addition
* Subtraction
* Multiplication
* Division
* Fractions
* Order of Operations (PEMDAS)
No advanced math or maintenance knowledge is required.
