Job Description
Established Mesa, AZ Plaintiff's law firm seeks an experienced paralegal with Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Catastrophic Injury litigation experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in civil litigation.
- Personal Injury litigation experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to work as a team member.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience with case management software.
- Must have a proven record assisting attorneys with all aspects of case management from initial intake through post-trial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage a case from intake to case resolution.
- Manage and Maintain an organized case file with little guidance.
- Manage all aspects of pre-litigation including obtaining crash reports, medical records, adjuster communications, drafting demands, lien resolution, among other things.
- Calendar case deadlines.
- Manage all aspects of litigation including drafting correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents.
- Obtain, organize, and analyze case-related documents and records.
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, witnesses, and experts.
- Prepare cases for trial, including coordinating exhibits, trial materials, and coordinating witnesses.
- Maintain all information regarding client matters in the case management system.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
