Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Oversee inventory control and food management processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maximize profitability
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS to ensure accurate transactions and reporting
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams through effective training, staff development, and performance evaluations
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, health regulations, and sanitation procedures to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, shift reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Coordinate shift management and scheduling to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours while controlling labor costs
- Foster a culture of excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Support hiring efforts through interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members with comprehensive training & development programs
- Collaborate with culinary staff on menu planning, food presentation standards, and special event catering such as banquets or private functions
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with a strong background in food industry operations
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices
- Familiarity with POS systems; proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience with demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality management
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols, health regulations, and sanitation standards
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within a restaurant setting
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive work environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
