Job Description:
We are seeking a HVAC Service Technician to join our team at G.A. Bove Fuels. In this role, you will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing customer heating and cooling equipment. Additionally, you will conduct routine maintenance and cleaning. Lastly, you may be required to counsel customers on replacing or upgrading their heating/cooling systems.
Expected hours for this weekend focused role are: Saturday from 12:00PM (Noon) to Sunday at 6:00PM. Note – for 30 hours/week of coverage, this role will pay for 40 hours/week, as a salary.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair customer heating and cooling equipment
- This includes oil fired systems, propane/natural gas systems, and air conditioning units.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues by thoroughly investigating system errors or malfunctions.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as HVAC system cleanings.
- Communicate professionally with customers to explain where the HVAC system experienced issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in HVAC service work (5+ years of experience preferred)
- Experience with oil, propane, and natural gas fired heating systems and related appliances.
- Experience servicing air conditioning units.
- Strong problem solving & organizational skills
- Adherence to high customer satisfaction requirements, such as ensuring you leave the work area in a customer’s home as neat as when you arrived and keeping your uniform, vehicle, and tools in good condition.
- Strong communication skills - ability to communicate effectively and relay information correctly
- Adherence to internal processes and safety procedures
