Driver/Warehouse
Job Summary
- Arrive on time daily and work full shift scheduled
- Monitor & Refill Propane tanks as needed
- Empty recycling and rubbish as needed

- Must have a valid Driver’s License & Maintain PUC License
- Proficient in handling power tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. – 100 lbs multiple times daily.
- Work hours 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Customer Service-Must be able to communicate with others in a friendly and professional manner. Having sufficient knowledge of our products and policies is a must (will train). Driver should always be respectful and helpful. Must be attentive to needs and request. Able to relay all communications from customer/contractor to sales/management as soon as possible to ensure customer needs are met.
Vehicle Maintenance- Basic maintenance of all company vehicles is required. Including, but not limited to keeping the vehicle clean and free from debris, inside and out. Checking and maintaining fluid levels (gas, oil, coolant, etc.). Ensure basic vehicle functions are in good working order (blinkers, brake lights, tires, wipers etc.). Ensure all vehicles are up to date on safety inspections and registration. Report any issues or repairs needed to management immediately, if you cannot fix them yourself.
Quality Control- Ensure each item loaded for delivery is in excellent condition. Check sales orders to make sure all parts (cabinets, accessories, sinks etc) are loaded before departure. Check to ensure all cabinets and accessories are free from blemish/damage (scratches, dents, chips, etc.). Make sure all pieces are aligned properly with no major overlap or undercut areas. Ensure all cabinets are the correct size, color and style listed on the sales order. Ensure that door hinges and drawer rails are working properly. Report any damage or repairs to management immediately. All repairs should be completed prior to delivery
Loading and Unloading- Delivery Driver is the primary person responsible for loading/unloading cabinets, sinks and accessories.
· Warehouse will provide help from 1 employee to assist in loading material to be delivered. Driver is responsible for ensuring ALL items listed on the sales order are loaded, properly secured and complete before leaving the warehouse.
· At job site the driver is responsible for making sure all products are offloaded in a timely and responsible manner, taking care to ensure products are delivered without damage. Deliveries are curbside deliveries only and must never be carried into the dwelling or up any stairs, driveways or landings. Deliver only to the curb, garage or covered area outside.
· Make sure customers inspect all items delivered or are informed they should inspect items. Make sure customer notes any complaints and signs our copy of the sales order before leaving the property. Give customer the “Customer Copy” of sales order.
· Write down all complaints, comments or issues about products from customers. Report any issues found at delivery to manager upon return to warehouse.
· Every job site will have a representative for said job to assist with unloading. In the event a representative is not available, another employee will be sent with you to assist. If no one is present to help unload you will return with the products and we will reschedule with the customer.
Cleaning And Organizing- All employees are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment by keeping vehicles, loading area, shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and free from debris. Be aware of any rubbish or hazard around warehouse, vehicle, work property and remove (if can) or report rubbish/hazard to management immediately. Assuring a safe and clear area for everyone.
Miscellaneous Duties- Maintain all accessories in warehouse 3 (Plywood) & 4 (REP, Toe Kick, Base Fillers, Facia, etc.), making sure all items are properly labeled and stored. Remove all used rubbish from area, including empty boxes and packing materials. Keeping propane tanks full and in proper working order, refill tanks as needed. Take all cardboard to recycle station as needed. Maintain recycling container, ensuring sturdiness and safety for transport. Remove all rubbish as necessary and dispose of it at transfer station. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed. Including, but not limited to, cabinet building, inventory, stocking, offloading containers, consolidating and other miscellaneous duties.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
