Heavy Assembler – 1st Shift | Up to $30/Hour
Location: Waukesha County, WI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: Approximately 50 hours/week
Pay: Up to $30/hour, based on experience
A well-established manufacturing company in Waukesha County is looking for a dependable Heavy Assembler to join its team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys mechanical assembly, working with tools, and building large equipment.
What You'll Do
- Assemble fabricated parts, subassemblies, and complete units
- Read blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics
- Use hand and power tools, tape measures, and assembly equipment
- Align, fit, connect, test, and adjust components
- Run and connect hoses and wiring
- Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Use overhead cranes to safely move heavy components
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous heavy assembly, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift and work around heavy equipment
- Comfortable climbing ladders, bending, and working on large assemblies
- Commitment to safety and quality
