Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Residential HVAC Installer to spearhead installation projects for our valued customers. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of installers, ensuring the efficient and precise setup of residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Your mechanical expertise and leadership will drive project success while maintaining our commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install residential HVAC systems with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Install heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment according to company standards and manufacturer specifications
- Complete wiring of both low-voltage and line-voltage HVAC equipment safely and accurately
- Install copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering, to ensure reliable system performance
- Install flex duct and sheet metal duct systems in residential and light commercial homes
- Ensure gas line connections to heating equipment are completed safely and correctly
- Measure jobs ahead of time and prepare the proper materials and equipment needed for successful installations
- Load and organize all tools, materials, and equipment required for each job
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while delivering a positive experience for homeowners
- Work closely with installers, project managers, and office staff to complete projects on time and at a high standard
- Perform system startup, testing, and final inspections to ensure equipment is operating properly
- Accurately complete job paperwork and communicate installation updates clearly with the team
- Take pride in maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle and professional appearance on the job site
Requirements
- 2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred, with residential installation experience strongly encouraged
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork installation, refrigerant piping, gas piping, and equipment wiring
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, and installation equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to read blueprints, installation instructions, and job specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work with installation crews in fast-paced environments
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- EPA Certification and additional HVAC certifications are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
