Position Summary
The Part-Time Brand Ambassador is responsible for promoting the Focus V brand at retail locations, trade shows, cannabis industry events, and consumer experiences throughout California. This role combines product education, customer engagement, and sales support to drive awareness, build brand loyalty, and increase sell-through.
Key Responsibilities

Product Representation – Serve as the face of Focus V, maintaining a professional, approachable, and brand-aligned presence at all times.

Event Activation – Execute in-store demos, pop-up events, and trade show activations according to the brand’s marketing plan.

Consumer Engagement – Educate consumers and retail staff on product features, usage, care, and benefits.

Sales Support – Support retail partners in increasing product sell-through by encouraging purchases and answering product questions.

Brand Education – Deliver product training sessions to retail staff, distributors, and budtenders.

Merchandising – Ensure product displays, signage, and promotional materials are stocked, clean, and visually appealing.

Reporting – Complete post-event recaps, track inventory used at events, and submit photos and metrics as required.

Compliance – Follow all California state laws and regulations regarding cannabis-adjacent product marketing and age restrictions.
Qualifications
Required:

Age 21+
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, event marketing, or brand representation

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to events within assigned territory

Ability to lift and transport event equipment (up to 40 lbs.)

Availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
Preferred:

Knowledge of cannabis culture, products, and accessories

Experience working with vaporization or glassware brands

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Part-time, event-based (hours vary week to week)

Compensation: $22– $25 per hour BOE

Work Environment
This position requires frequent travel to retail locations, outdoor and indoor events, and occasional overnight stays for trade shows. Work is performed in public-facing environments with varied noise levels, lighting, and crowd sizes.
