Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient workflow
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain high standards of customer service and food quality
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales tracking
- Control inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate food management to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area in accordance with food safety standards and hospitality best practices
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising hospitality teams, including staff training and team management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and compliance with health regulations
- Excellent communication skills for managerial communication, staff interviewing, and customer service excellence
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in casual dining or café settings is highly desirable; barista or coffee experience is a plus
- Strong basic math skills for budgeting, sales analysis, and inventory control
