About the Role
As a CNC Swiss Programmer, you will drive precision manufacturing excellence by developing and refining complex programs for high-tolerance components. You will bridge the gap between engineering concepts and shop-floor reality, ensuring that every part meets rigorous quality standards through expert process optimization and technical leadership.
Responsibilities-
Develop and validate robust CNC programs and tooling configurations for both prototype development and high-volume production runs.

Translate complex engineering blueprints and CAD models into efficient machining sequences that maximize output and tool longevity.

Lead the setup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Citizen Swiss-style machining processes to minimize cycle times and reduce waste.

Partner with R&D and quality teams to ensure seamless manufacturing transfers and adherence to strict technical specifications.

Mentor shop floor personnel on advanced machining techniques, setup parameters, and the application of GD&T standards.

Maintain high levels of process discipline by documenting machine parameters and refining control plans to ensure consistent, repeatable results.
Qualifications-
3+ years of hands-on experience in a precision machining environment with a focus on Swiss-style lathes.

Demonstrated proficiency in G-Code, M-Code, and CAD software such as SolidWorks.

Strong understanding of GD&T and its application in verifying part quality.

Proven ability to independently set up, edit, and optimize programs on Citizen CNC equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of improving manufacturing efficiency.

Experience working within ISO or cGMP regulated manufacturing environments.

Background in medical device or aerospace component fabrication.

Technical certification or coursework in manufacturing engineering or related fields.

Experience managing multiple technical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced production setting.
