Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, providing friendly and prompt service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, ovens, and other culinary tools necessary for food preparation.
- Ensure food handling procedures meet safety standards while maintaining a quick turnaround during busy hours.
- Support team members in delivering excellent customer service by serving with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols diligently.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store operations is advantageous.
- Food safety management knowledge and sanitation practices are essential for maintaining a clean environment.
- Previous restaurant or café experience will help you excel in this energetic setting.
