Shop/Yard Foreman
Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and experienced Shop/Yard Foreman to lead daily operations within our construction shop and yard. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing equipment, materials, and personnel to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality project execution.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and takes pride in maintaining an organized, productive yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily yard and shop activities, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Load/unload materials and manage inventory
- Safely operate equipment such as forklift, skid steers, loaders, and related machinery
- Maintain a clean, organized and safety-compliant yard and shop
- Coordinate equipment usage and material deliveries with project managers and field crews.
- Trian, lead and supervise yard and shop personnel.
- Enforce company safety policies and promote a culture of safety.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, yard management, shop operations, or related field
- Proven leadership and team-management abilties
- Comfortable operating heavy equipment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Valid Driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
