About PeakID
PeakID is part of a group of companies founded by James Gough, who owns and operates nine businesses across the fitness, coaching, and education sectors.
This role will primarily support two of the group's brands:
- PeakID (JG Physique) – An online coaching business helping executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs improve their health and fitness.
- JG Consultancy – A business consultancy that helps fitness coaches and online business owners build, grow, and scale their businesses.
As a Social Media Manager / Digital Marketing Specialist, you'll work closely with the team to create engaging content, manage social media channels, and support digital marketing initiatives that contribute to the continued growth of these brands.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
- Manage social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts.
- Plan, schedule, publish, and optimize content.
- Write engaging captions and calls to action.
- Maintain consistent branding across all platforms.
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
Content Creation
- Edit short-form and long-form video content.
- Design graphics, social media posts, carousels, and promotional materials.
- Stay informed on current social media trends and apply them where appropriate.
- Ensure visual consistency across all marketing assets.
Digital Marketing
- Create weekly and monthly content calendars.
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
- Support email marketing activities using marketing platforms.
- Work with the sales and coaching teams to create marketing initiatives that support business objectives.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor social media performance and key marketing metrics.
- Track audience growth, engagement, and campaign performance.
- Prepare regular performance reports and recommend improvements.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with leadership and team members in a remote environment.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Communicate effectively using Slack, WhatsApp, Google Workspace, and other collaboration tools.
QualificationsRequired
- Previous experience managing social media for a business or organization.
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills.
- Experience creating and editing digital content, including video.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Good understanding of major social media platforms and content strategy.
Preferred
Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage:
- Canva
- GoHighLevel (GHL)
- ClickFunnels
- Trello
- Mailgun or similar email marketing platforms
- Google Analytics
- SEO fundamentals
- Content marketing
- Lead generation campaigns
- Fitness, coaching, or online education businesses
Equipment Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A reliable desktop or laptop suitable for content creation and video editing.
- A stable internet connection.
- Adequate storage for managing digital media files.
