Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide exceptional care and support within a private home setting for an 18 month old child. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, proactive in household management, and committed to creating a safe, engaging, and loving atmosphere for children to thrive.
Duties
- Provide attentive and personalized care for children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities
- Assist with preschool routines, educational play, and developmental milestones to support early learning
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
- Conduct light household chores such as cleaning children's areas, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Offer transportation assistance for school drop-offs, appointments, or outings using private vehicle as needed
- Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols during emergencies or minor incidents
- Foster positive behavior management techniques and encourage social skills development
- Engage children in creative play, reading, teaching activities, and outdoor adventures to promote growth and curiosity
Experience
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Prior nannying or private home childcare experience is essential; familiarity with multiple children is highly valued
- Knowledge of childcare best practices including infant care, toddler care, meal preparation, and developmental activities
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in caregiving techniques is advantageous
- Experience working in daycare settings or babysitting for various families demonstrates versatility and reliability
- Strong understanding of household management tasks such as residential housekeeping and meal planning
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
