We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full Time Pastry Chef/Bread Maker to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Hand make and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts with precision and creativity
- Manage food production processes to ensure timely delivery of fresh products throughout the day
- Package baked items securely for retail display or catering orders, maintaining presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge and assisting with special orders or catering requests
Requirements
- Proven pastry experience with a strong background in baking and food preparation
- Skilled bread making, and food handling techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with various culinary tools and equipment
- Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food industry setting is highly desirable
- Willingness to follow cleanliness protocols, and follow through on cleaning sidework
