Job Summary
The gate guard will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of company's premises.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the facility by checking identification and credentials of personnel and visitors
- Operate gate, secure entry and exit
- Trailer inspections and interchanges
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility to detect and report any security concerns or breaches
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and access control in alignment with CTPAT guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any irregularities to management
- Keep guard shack clean
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with CTPAT guidelines is a plus
- The usage of SLAM is a plus
- Ability to pass a Background
Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
