A busy road racing shop is looking for a new member of our team!
Preferred candidate will have a mechanical aptitude and have experience, and enjoy working on cars. Specific training for race cars is provided!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of race cars for going to the track, to ensure optimal performance and safety. This includes the inspection of all critical components of the cars including brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions and body work.
- Assist with loading and unloading cars, supplies and equipment for a race weekend.
- Inventory and restocking of trailer parts used and sold during a race weekend.
- Weekly inventory of showroom, submitting a detailed order list to parts manager.
- Manage custom parts and kits assembly.
- Keep shop and personal working area clean and orderly.
Candidate must be willing to travel to the racetrack on the weekends of an event to help support the cars. Travel will be throughout the Midwest and further, expenses paid.
Must currently have or be willing to purchase their own tools.
Having a CDL is a plus!
