Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Accounting/Office Manager to oversee the financial and administrative operations of our construction projects. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction project accounting, including budgeting, bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense tracking using QuickBooks or similar software.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Filing, front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, and calendar management as needed.
- Coordinate scheduling for project timelines, meetings, and events such as site visits or client presentations; plan and execute company events when needed.
- Maintain human resources functions including onboarding new team members, training & development initiatives, and enforcing office policies.
- Ensure effective communication across teams by managing correspondence, phone etiquette, and internal updates; facilitate team meetings for project progress reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within the construction industry or related fields.
- Strong accounting skills with proficiency in Deltek
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
- Familiarity with vendor management processes and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of payroll procedures, budgeting practices, and human resources fundamentals.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
- Experience handling clerical tasks such as filing systems, front desk operations, and multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
