Child and Family Therapist – KC PCIT
KC PCIT is seeking a licensed therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families. This position offers specialized training and ongoing clinical consultation within a collaborative, supportive practice dedicated to best practices in child and family mental health. Training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is provided as part of this role.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families in an office-based and/or telehealth setting
- Meet training and competency standards for the treatment of anxiety, ADHD, depression, and family-related concerns
- Participate in ongoing professional development through reading, research, workshops, seminars, and weekly team-based clinical consultation
- Collaborate with community professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive client care
- Build and maintain an active caseload and referral base
- Complete accurate, timely, and ethical clinical documentation
- Collaborate and coordinate care with KC PCIT colleagues
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work with 3–5 years of clinical experience
- Kansas Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) preferred
- Missouri Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
- Will consider LPC
- Strong commitment to evidence-based treatment approaches
- Working knowledge of counseling and therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Compensation
- Position is W-2 employment
- KC PCIT bills $150 per 45-minute session
- Compensation is based on a percentage of the billable rate
