Experienced CNC Machinist
Grace Pacifica Machining, a leading manufacturer for customers in the defense, aerospace, medical, and optical fields, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. Must be able to perform setups, work within tight tolerances, and edit programs.
The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years of experience, is a self-starter who is detail oriented, and has the ability to work independently.
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC Mills in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.
- Perform quality control inspections of parts on the machine.
- Document work orders and other documentation required for quality control.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics as well as follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Ability to use CAD CAM software (Solidworks) in order to perform dimensional tolerancing of parts.
- Ability to use hand tools such as grinders, calipers, wrenches, etc., in order to perform dimensional tolerancing of parts.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers or calipers in order to perform dimensional tolerancing of parts.
- Help develop continuous improvement ideas and fixture design.
Pay is based on relevant experience and qualifications.
