Job Overview
We are Three 65 Towing, dba Reliable Recovery Services; while we do cover other areas of towing, our primary focus is repossessions. Our yard is located in Alvarado, but our coverage territory is all of the Metroplex, and then some areas further out - our trucks sleep at the yard, so our drivers do not take them home. We primarily operate Monday through Friday, and currently, we are looking to hire a Repossession Agent. Self Loader experienced preferred, someone who is always safety-aware, professional, and service driven. This position involves locating (on a map - skip actually looks), securing, and towing vehicles that are subject to repossession, all while maintaining compliance with legal and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Self Loader tow truck in effort to recover units, mostly independently, unless otherwise directed via admin/skip
- Computer literate as will need to operate software for the LPR scanners, input updates, and navigate using different types of GPS platforms
- Manage vehicle recovery towing operations with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks while adhering to safety standards.
- Engage with customers professionally during repossession processes, providing clear communication and exceptional customer service
- Follow all traffic laws and commercial driving regulations, including those for commercial truck driving and manual transmission operation.
- Maintain detailed logs of all repossession activities, including vehicle condition reports and recovery documentation.
- Utilize conflict management skills to handle tense situations calmly and effectively during repossessions.
Requirements
- Valid Texas Drivers License with clean driving record,
- Active TDLR
- Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading procedures on tow trucks.
- Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs and basic troubleshooting on various vehicle types.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations professionally.
- Familiarity with vehicle recovery towing techniques and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus but not required.
- Excellent driving record with adherence to all safety regulations; ability to load & unload cargo efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, loading, and securing vehicles in various environments.
