Job Purpose
To provide the highest level of customer service while answering any questions about a product that a customer may have. To educate the public about firearms and help them in choosing what is right for them, not yourself.
Duties and responsibilities
- Providing the highest level of customer service
- Educating the public on firearms and safety
- Helping a customer in selection of the right firearm for them
- Processing of ATF Form 4473
Secondary Duties and responsibilities
- Engage with each guest entering and departing the facility.
- Perform office and clerical duties pertaining to data entry, reservations, and memberships.
- Assist with bookings regarding lane reservation, date nights, memberships, and training.
- Gain knowledge and be able to explain in detail the benefits of a Wilshire Gun membership.
- Process the purchase of gift cards.
- Respond to emails according to inquiry.
- Answer incoming calls in a friendly and pleasant manner, direct the caller to the appropriate department, inquire as to the needs of the guest and respond appropriately.
- Ensure the reception area is kept neat, with all needed guest service supplies available.
- Provide concierge services for guests such as providing information for shopping, shooting range, and recreational events.
Qualifications
- Must maintain and commit to a minimum of twelve (12) scheduled hours per workweek.
- Hard work ethic and willing to learn
- Good customer service skills
- Knowledge of firearms
- 21 years of age or Older
Working Conditions
Regular shift work that will not exceed 8 hour increments. Requires open availability Tuesday through Sunday (closed Monday), weekends, nights and some holidays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)
Physical Requirements
Will be on your feet all day walking the floor and assisting customers in every way possible
