Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Composite Laminator to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on position is responsible for the fabrication, layup, curing, trimming, bonding, and repair of composite components used in high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will work from engineering specifications, manufacturing plans, and quality requirements to ensure products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lay up fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, and other composite materials.
- Cut, prepare, and position plies according to engineering requirements and ply schedules.
- Perform debulking and vacuum bagging of tooling and composite parts.
- Conduct potting and bonding operations using approved materials and processes.
- Mix resins, hardeners, and adhesives according to manufacturer specifications.
- Follow quality management system (QMS) procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing standards.
- Read and utilize work order travelers, blueprints, and manufacturing plans.
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Comply with OSHA safety requirements, company policies, and ITAR regulations.
- Support team objectives and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work with hand tools, measuring devices, and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred (Not Required)
- 1+ year of experience working with composite materials such as epoxy, fiberglass, carbon fiber, graphite, BMI, or Kevlar.
- 1+ year of experience with vacuum bagging, tooling preparation, industrial ovens, and/or autoclave operations.
- Basic understanding of composite ply orientation and layup techniques.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, marine, automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Frequent use of hands and arms for precision work.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
