The Clinical Manager is a hands-on healthcare leader responsible for overseeing clinical operations, driving quality outcomes, supporting staff development, and ensuring exceptional patient care throughout the surgery center. This role partners with physicians, clinical staff, and leadership to create a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and service excellence while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Provide leadership and oversight of clinical operations and patient care services.

Supervise nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, anesthesia, and patient care activities.

Monitor quality of care, patient outcomes, and clinical performance metrics.

Serve as a patient advocate and safety champion.

Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and standards.

Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate, and retain clinical staff.

Verify employee licensure, certifications, and credentials.

Collaborate with physicians and leadership to improve patient care and operations.

Develop staffing plans and monitor resource utilization.

Participate in budgeting and fiscal management activities.
-
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Support staff education, competency validation, and professional development.

Participate in leadership meetings and performance improvement initiatives.

Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
-
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

BSN preferred.

Two years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Current BLS certification.

Current ACLS certification.
-
CNOR preferred.
-
PALS preferred.
