Responsibilities

- Contribute to the efficiency of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain data integrity.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales and use tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Uphold compliance with financial regulations and standards, mitigating risk and ensuring best practices.
- Support the development of budgets and forecasts, providing critical financial data and analysis.
- Aid in audit processes by supplying essential documentation and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting position.
- Solid understanding of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
- Prior accounting experience within a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Familiarity with Sage 100 software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
