We're looking for an energetic, self-motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is NOT a delivery position. Products are delivered by our transportation team. Your primary responsibilities are selling, merchandising, inventory management, and developing strong customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery store customers.
- Manage an assigned territory and customer accounts.
- Achieve sales, distribution, merchandising, and marketing objectives.
- Write and submit accurate product orders.
- Maximize product distribution and secure additional displays and promotional opportunities.
- Merchandise shelves, coolers, and displays to company standards.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimize out-of-date inventory.
- Organize and maintain clean, efficient backroom inventory.
- Communicate market trends, competitive activity, customer concerns, and sales opportunities to management.
- Maintain accurate sales, merchandising, and account records.
- Work independently while providing outstanding customer service.

Physical Requirements
This is an active, physically demanding position.
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and move up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Stock shelves, build displays, and organize inventory.
- Frequently bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
Driving Requirements
- Valid North Carolina Class C driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
- Company vehicle provided for business use only and must be maintained according to Harris Beverages standards.

This position reports directly to the Team Leader within the assigned sales group.
