- Schedule:
- Starting Friday11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Sat-SU 8am–4:30pm
- Mon-Tues, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Days Off: Wednesday & Thursday
- Provides dedicated weekend coverage while supporting weekday operations.
- Participation in the rotating weekday after-hours and weekend on-call schedule
- Overtime available based on business needs
Starting Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Employees are eligible for a performance and compensation review after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period.

Job Summary
MedExpress is seeking dependable, professional, and motivated Medical Courier Drivers to join our growing team. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting time-sensitive medical equipment, surgical implants, laboratory specimens, and medical supplies to hospitals, surgery centers, laboratories, and healthcare facilities throughout Southern California.
This position plays a critical role in supporting patient care by ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport medical equipment, surgical implants, laboratory specimens, and medical supplies.
- Load and unload equipment weighing 25–55 pounds.
- Deliver to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), laboratories, physician offices, and Sterile Processing Departments (SPDs).
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation using company software and mobile applications.
- Communicate delivery updates, delays, and issues with dispatch and management.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
- Assist warehouse operations with inventory, staging, organization, and quality control during downtime.
- Participate in overtime, evening deliveries, and rotating weekday after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service to hospital staff, surgeons, and customers.
- Identify and refer potential new customers and earn commission on qualified business referrals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Previous courier, delivery, medical logistics, or healthcare experience is preferred.
- Experience driving cargo vans, 16-foot, or 26-foot box trucks is a plus (training provided if needed).
- Ability to safely lift and move 25–55 pounds throughout the day.
- Comfortable driving throughout Southern California.
- Must own a smartphone for navigation and communication.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and current automobile insurance.
- Willing to use a personal vehicle during emergency situations when authorized.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and team-oriented.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Uniform
- Company-provided scrubs (2 sets).
- Closed-toe work shoes are required.
