About the Role
As a Commercial Tractor-Trailer Operator, you will serve as a vital link in the supply chain, ensuring the efficient and timely transport of freight. You will leverage your expertise in heavy vehicle operation to maintain safety standards while optimizing logistics performance for our manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities-
Execute safe and efficient transport of freight between customer facilities, distribution hubs, and logistics partners.

Manage yard operations by maneuvering trailers to designated loading and unloading zones to streamline facility throughput.

Perform rigorous pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and operational safety.

Maintain compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations regarding driver performance and interstate commerce.

Document all transit activities, including delivery logs and shipping manifests, to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Communicate mechanical concerns or equipment performance issues promptly to maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Operate various tractor configurations, including day cabs, while maintaining a clean and professional cab environment.
Qualifications-
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).

Current DOT Medical Card.

Minimum of 23 years of age.

2-3 years of verifiable experience operating 53' dry van trailers.

Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last two years.

Demonstrated ability to perform complex backing and yard maneuvers.

Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and mechanical troubleshooting.

Excellent organizational skills for managing shipping documentation and reporting.
