About 350NH Action: 350NH Action is a grassroots climate justice organization. Our mission is to elect progressive climate champions who support our vision for a just transition to 100% renewable energy at the local, state and federal level.
Job Description: 350NH Action canvassers advocate for key climate issues and candidates. Canvassers will knock door to door across NH through the November election to build support & get out the vote for amazing climate champions! This is a temporary position.
Canvassers will be expected to:
- Canvass door-to-door in districts across NH
- Enter data from their canvassing
- Be available to canvass between 2pm-7pm weekdays, and 11am-7pm on weekends, schedule decided individually based on availability
Qualifications
- A desire to fight for climate justice and elect climate champions
- Experience canvassing (volunteer or paid), not required but preferred
- Strong communication skills and follow through
- Reliable transportation, smart phone, laptop/computer, and proof vaccination & all booster shots
Compensation & Commitment
- Canvassers will be compensated $26 per hour, paid every two weeks.
- Canvassers will average 10-20 hours per week.
- These positions will start August 13th and go through November 4th
Physical Demands & Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to read, speak, and use a computer keyboard and monitor. This position requires driving to canvassing locations and walking for long long distances in variable weather.
