Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Services Specialist in our billing office. The Patient Services Specialist will be responsible for answering incoming patient billing calls, processing patient and insurance correspondence and processing HCFA's for mailing to insurance companies along with other duties as assigned. .
Qualifications
- 2 years of back-end medical billing experience preferred
- 2 years customer service experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills displaying professional etiquette
- Mature understanding of medical billing and medical record processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong time management skills, along with a solid organizational system for self-motivation.
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Creating and updating medical records to ensure accuracy and validity of information
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
