Job description
We have an immediate need for an Office Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a position doing a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Word and Excel, be detail oriented, enjoy driving processes and wearing different hats, and be able to multi-task in an open office environment. Position Summary: To assist with administrative functions such as: answering the phones, backing up dispatcher, assisting service department with scheduling appointments and dispatching technicians; performing general office duties. Provide administrative support to entire company, as needed using a variety of computer and organizational skills.
Work Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Must pass drug and background screens
· 2+ years of related experience working in an office or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Call Center Experience
· Ability to work efficiently in an open office environment
· Geographical knowledge of Kansas City Metro Area
· Highly organized and detail oriented
· Ability to multi-task with interruptions
· Able to answer multi-line phones
· Basic computer skills ( MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Essential Duties:
· Answer the phones
· Perform outstanding customer service
· Assist in dispatching service technicians or assisting the service technician when needed
· Place orders with vendors as directed
· Maintain filing system
· Prepare daily deposits
· Post daily payments against accounts receivable and past due invoices
· Process daily paperwork for installation jobs including but not limited to coding timecards, processing payments, updating customer files in computer, scanning, registering equipment, processing rebates, etc.
· Prepare installation work orders
· Maintain lead log at proposal & job completion stages
· Assist management with written correspondence to vendors & customers as needed
· Purge old files periodically to archive
· Assist in meetings / luncheons agendas and prep work and clean up
· Other duties as assigned
Pay: $17.00 per hour
