Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics and medical-surgical units. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including infants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for supervising the work of Nursing Assistants.
· Responsible for the administration of therapeutic drugs to residents.
· Responsible for the performance of therapeutic procedures (treatment).
· Interacts with personnel of other departments involved in the therapy of residents.
· Responsible for utilizing nursing process for nursing care.
· Provides patient care daily.
· Interacts with other licensed nursing personnel.
· Interrelationship with shift supervisor as well as with attending and consulting physicians.
· Provides a clean, orderly and safe environment for residents.
· Records patient status.
· Communicates with residents and their family members or visitors.
· Defense of Residents' Rights.
· Supports administrative policies.
· Completes forms and paperwork.
· Promptly reports any known or perceived incidents on resident abuse to appropriate authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
· Current license as a Professional Nurse by the Department of State Commission on Professional and Occupational Affairs in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
· One year of special training, education or experience in programs that are considered appropriate to geriatric activity programming.
Demonstrates understanding of exposure to blood borne pathogens
Job Types: Full-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $35.72 - $49.09 per hour
