We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Daytime Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Hours 7am to 2pm and must be available to work Friday/Saturday/Sunday/ Monday
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials that delight our guests
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and coordinating timely service
- Serve dishes with professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles, demonstrating knowledge of special dietary needs and restrictions
- Strong background in food industry settings such as restaurants or fine dining establishments with excellent culinary skills
- Expertise in menu planning, meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices
- Skilled in food safety standards, knife skills, and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience in food service operations including serving guests efficiently and courteously
- Ability to work collaboratively within a kitchen team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
