Project Coordinator
Location: Roanoke, VA

Pay: $50,000–$55,000

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in Roanoke, VA. This position plays a critical role in coordinating project timelines, communicating with customers and internal teams, and ensuring products are delivered on schedule. Responsibilities
- Release internal sales orders promptly upon receipt of customer orders.
- Coordinate project kickoff meetings with Business Development Managers and Project Engineers.
- Distribute approval drawings to customers and manage returned drawing comments.
- Review customer feedback and communicate changes to appropriate departments.
- Notify management of customer requests or revisions that may impact project costs.
- Coordinate pre-construction activities to support on-time project completion.
- Monitor project schedules and communicate milestones with internal teams.
- Keep customers informed of project timelines and delivery expectations.
- Communicate scheduling updates and project changes to customers.
- Maintain and update project management databases.
- Participate in weekly project management meetings with Engineering and Production teams.
- Travel to production facilities as needed to meet with customers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
- 3–5 years of project coordination or project management experience.
- Project Management or Project Coordination experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- PMP Certification is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction and/or electrical power distribution is preferred.
- Basic understanding of algebra, geometry, and mathematical calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams.
