Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings, is highly valued. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting host/host duties when needed
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing questions or concerns professionally
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items and promote specials effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance
