Hat Six Travel Center is hiring for Cowboy Deli, one of our most consistent and well-run departments. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way—following proven systems, maintaining high standards, and being part of a strong, dependable team.
Cowboy Deli prepares fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner items daily, including Cinnabon and house-made fudge. We also offer our Heritage line, focused on high-quality ingredients with no seed oils and a more health-conscious approach.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and procedures
- Execute daily food prep for breakfast, lunch, and specialty items
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Keep kitchen and prep areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Follow presentation and portion standards
- Assist with inventory and restocking as needed
- Communicate any issues or needs to supervisors
- Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly
- Provide friendly, respectful service to guests and coworkers
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Willing to learn all areas of the deli
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Available for weekends and some holidays
- Good communication with team members and leadership
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift
- Frequent bending, lifting, and movement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with hot, cold, and kitchen equipment
