Family law practice based in D.C. and Maryland is seeking an attorney barred in Maryland and/or DC to assist the Firm in handling cases on a contract basis.
This would be a great opportunity for an attorney who is currently looking to supplement their current income with occasional casework.
Desired candidate will possess:
1. Minimum four years’ experience in the areas of family litigation. If you do not possess the requisite years of experience, we still encourage you to apply.
2. Bar admission in Maryland and District of Columbia preferred.
3. Flexibility to work on cases as needed
4. Experience drafting motions and pleadings; conducting legal research; and preparing and responding to discovery.
5. Courtroom Experience is a plus although the position may not necessitate court appearances.
Dual admission to DC and Maryland is desirable but not required.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour
