This full-time role involves working with a diverse student population (approximately 25-30 students) across multiple locations within the district, ensuring a rewarding mix of collaboration and independence.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Physical Therapy (PT) license, or willingness to obtain before the start date
- Fingerprint clearance through OSPI, or open to completing this requirement
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but dedicated new grads are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Committed to providing services exclusively onsite (no virtual work)
- Able to manage a K-12 caseload and work across different sites within the district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to support the academic and functional growth of students in grades K-12
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into students’ educational programs
- Consult with school staff on accommodations and equipment needs to support student participation
- Travel between school sites within the district as needed
