About Us
We are a warm, child-centered Montessori school dedicated to fostering independence, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Lead Teacher to join our team for Summer 2026 and/or the 2026–2027 School Year.
Position Overview
The Montessori Lead Teacher will guide a mixed-age classroom of children ages 3–6 years, preparing and maintaining an engaging Montessori environment that supports each child's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a Montessori classroom for children ages 3–6 years.
- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized, and developmentally appropriate Montessori environment.
- Present Montessori lessons in Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies.
- Observe and assess children's progress and maintain accurate records.
- Foster independence, respect, concentration, and a positive classroom community.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's growth and development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and school policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Qualifications
- Montessori Early Childhood Certification (AMI, AMS, MACTE-accredited, or equivalent preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Montessori classroom.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday(8:30am-4:30pm)
- Summer 2026 and/or September 2026–June 2027
